FAQ/Details

  • HOW DO WE PLAY OUR ROUNDS?

It's as simple as booking a tee time on our website.

If you are partnering up with another league participant make sure you schedule an hour per player. This will make sure you have enough time to complete your round. It takes about 45-60 minutes/player to complete an 18 round of golf.

  • WHAT ARE THE WEEKLY PRIZES?

Each week, you will have the ability to win the following:

Closest To The Pin: $25 Gift Card or One Apparel Item

Long Drive: $25 Gift Card or One Apparel Item

  • HOW DO THE FLIGHTS WORK?

Participants will be split into flights based on their TrackMan Virtual Golf Handicap.

The number of flights depends on the participation.

On October 6th, all players will be divided evenly into flights. The goal is to make all flights as even in number of players as possible and to make the handicap ranges as close and fair as possible.

  • HOW DOES SCORING WORK?

Our league will use the Order of Merit system for our 22-week season.

Each week, players will play one 18-hole handicapped stroke play tournament round.

    What is Order of Merit?

Order of Merit is a points-based scoring system where each tournament round gives you points that are summed up to form an overall leaderboard (as the FedEx Cup for the PGA or the Race to Dubai for the DP World Tour). Based on your score in each round, you will be awarded points. Individual round scoring will still follow tournament rules (Stroke, Stroke Net, Stableford, etc.)

  • WHAT ARE HANDICAP RULES?

    Overview:

Each player must have a TrackMan Virtual Golf Handicap. To obtain one, you must have FIVE 9-hole rounds completed with no mulligans and with a gimmie circle of 12'.

    Important!!!

First, we can change your handicap anytime during the league. We reserve this right to help make the league fair if someone's handicap doesn't represent their current skill level.

Second, we will not take a GHIN handicap over the virtual golf handicap.

  • WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT ONE WEEK?

Unfortunately, you missed out on that round. No big deal!

  • HOW DOES THE POINT SYSTEM WORK?

How are the rest of the points calculated?

The rest of the points follow a logarithmic distribution until 1. This logarithmic distribution is calculated for every tenth player. That means that if 14 players play in a tournament, the logarithmic distribution will run from a maximum of 100 points for the player in first position to 1 point for the number 20 (14 is rounded up to the next tenth player being 20 players).

The point distribution is then as follows:

    1. 100 points
    2. 77 points
    3. 64 points
    4. 54 points
    5. 47 points
    6. 41 points
    7. 36 points
    8. 31 points
    9. 27 points
    10. 24 points
